About this vintage design furniture
This is a slightly smaller version of Carl-Thores "Trava" with the opac plastic band at the centre. Made from silver coloured brushed aluminium. This light is not in great condition which is clearly reflected in the price. It has some bumps and scrapes here and there as seen in the pictures.

Carl Thore was a Swedish designer who was born in 1917 and died in 2004. He is best known for his work in the field of lighting, having worked for the famous Swedish design company Granhaga Metallindustri AB, which produced high-quality luminaires.
