About this vintage design furniture
The original King couch was designed by the Belgian designer André Vandenbroeck in the 1960s and manufactured by Strässle in Switzerland. The couch is upholstered in a beautiful cognac-colored leather and has a very stabil metal frame. A wonderful example of Swiss workmanship. The couch has age-typical signs of wear. One pillow has a hole on the upper edge - s. photos.

André Vandenbeuck was a Belgian designer born on February 6, 1922 in Ixelles and died on February 4, 2014 in De Haan. He is best known for his work as an automotive designer for the French Facel Vega brand in the 1950s and 1960s.
