About this vintage design furniture
Vintage lounge chair with ottoman. This chair was originally designed in 1932 and reintroduced by Tecta in 1987. The chair´s backrest, seat and footstool base is made of woven cane on a chromed tubular steel frame. Armrest is wrapped in cane as well. Design by Anton Lorenz, made by Tecta.

About the designer
Anton Lorenz
Anton Lorenz (1892-1964) was a Hungarian designer who worked in the fields of interior architecture, furniture and mass production. He studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Vienna and worked for architects such as Adolf Loos before founding his own company in 1920.
