About this vintage design furniture
Nice sofa by Etienne Henri Martin for Steiner from the 1950s. The structure is in black lacquered oak, and foundations have been fully retapissées with a thick velvet of Osborne & Little fabrics - Mikado Velvet in an ochre color.

Étienne-Henri Martin (1913-1995) was a renowned French designer and artist, best known for his work in ceramics. Born in Lyon, France, he studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris before becoming a professor at the same institution.
