About this vintage design furniture
This tubular steel armchair was produced by Vichr in former Czechoslovakia in the 1930th. The wooden parts with a birch veneer has been restored. The nickeled tubular steel is in a very nice condition.

About the designer
Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) was a Czech industrial designer known for his functional and elegant furniture creations. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist designs.
