Pair of armchairs by Etienne Henri Martin for Steiner Editeur from the 1950s. The structure is in black lacquered oak, and the seats have been completely redecorated with a thick velvet fabric Osborne & Little - Mikado Velvet in an ocher color. The line of these armchairs evokes the French modernism of the 1950s.

About the designer
Etienne-Henri MARTIN
Étienne-Henri Martin (1913-1995) was a renowned French designer and artist, best known for his work in ceramics. Born in Lyon, France, he studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris before becoming a professor at the same institution.
