About this vintage design furniture
This quality produced sideboard by Uniflex was designed by Gunther Hoffstead in the 1950’s. It is free standing with a rosewood back so can be used as a room divider. It stands on sled legs and has four central drawers with cupboard to the left and a bar section on the right. The sideboard is in excellent condition and has been fully polished

About the designer
Gunther HOFFSTEAD
Gunter Hoffstead was a German furniture designer who worked for the British furniture company Uniflex in the 1950s and 1960s. Little information is available about his personal life, but he is known to have designed some of Uniflex's most iconic pieces of furniture.
