About this vintage design furniture
Rio rosewood bar coffee table by Adolf Relling and Rolf Rastad in 1962. Consisting of a circular tray whose halves rise and opens on a rotating box to accommodate glasses and bottles. This particularly original and ingenious system, first designed for a sewing table and then declined into a bar, was awarded a first design award in Oslo in 1962.

Rolf RASTAD & Adolf RELLING
Rastad & Relling is the name of a Norwegian design duo made up of Rolf Rastad and Adolf Relling. Both were born in Norway in 1915 and began their collaboration in 1943. They studied at the Oslo School of Art and Crafts, where they specialized in furniture design.
