About this vintage design furniture
Set of 6 dining chairs designed by John Mortensen for Koefoeds Hornslet Møbelfabrik AS in 1981 in Denmark. They are made from solid teak and come with the original wool upholstery. The round curves are hand shaped and a metal rod is inserted to strengthen the back. All chairs are marked. The seat height is 46 cm. Very good condition. Table is not included.

About the designer
John MORTENSEN
John Mortensen was an American industrial designer who was born in 1916 and died in 2015. He studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and began his career working for several design firms in New York in the 1940s and 1950s.
