About this vintage design furniture

Military library/office - 1970s - Mann Egerton The Mann Egerton military bookcase/desk is a superb example of utilitarian retro teak styling. This bookcase was made by Mann Egerton in 1977 for the army, as indicated by the "broad arrow" mark stamped on the underside. As with all British military furniture, this piece has been designed to last and is manufactured to very high standards. A very solid and heavy piece. The drawers work smoothly and the desk opens cleanly. Original locks and keys are fully functional. Dimensions: W 137 x D 35.5 x H 122 Materials: Teak Origin: England Restoration: Fully sanded and oiled to nourish and protect the wood. Condition: Very good Weight: Approx. 30 kg Reference : 314955
