Wall lamp "Diabolo" by René MATHIEU from the 50s. Manufacturer: Lunel France. Composed of a wall bracket and an articulated arm brass tube. Openwork shade of stars and white lacquered aluminum. Original paint. 2 independent lamps with push buttons.

About the designer
René MATHIEU
René Mathieu was a French designer born in Nancy in 1905 and died in 1969. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nancy before moving to Paris to work as a theater decorator. He also worked for Galeries Lafayette, where he was responsible for creating window displays and exhibition stands.
