This mini planter comes from the Moser Karlsbad crystal works based in the Czech Republic. It's a concentrate of Czech artisanal elegance, and Art Deco influence with crystal in intense amethyst tones cut with beveled sides. It depicts a miniature scene of stylized feminine figures, in the form of a plate finely engraved in fine gold, in a mythologizing setting of a scene evoking idle nymphs playing in nature, among birds and natural volutes.
A design typical of the 30's, this mini jardinière is a rare delicacy for its time, each piece produced by Moser Karlsbad being entirely hand-crafted and unique, ideal for a collector of early 20th century European crystal, Art Deco or as a showcase object.
