About this vintage design furniture
This round coffee table was designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and was produced by France and Søn in 1950s, Denmark.
This circular table is made out of solid teak wood and features the typically Danish simplicity in design. A simple yet sophisticated design which makes it a perfect fit both yours modern or vintage interiors.
Original mark on top of the table.
The legs can be unscrewed.
In good vintage condition, only some minor signs of use consistent with age.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
