Unique pressed glass vase 'Face' designed by Adolf Matura and profuced by Sklo Union Glassworks in former Czechoslovakia in the 1970's. Adolf Matura has a great importance in the issue of Czechoslovak pressed glass. Matura was primarily glass artist. At the beginning of his career he focused on engraved glass in Železny Brod. Later he focused on desktop and complementary glass designs. In the mid-sixties he began to focus on molded glass. Matura liked figurative work. Among his designs you can find one of the best vases, vase with two faces, which is greatly appreciated by collectors of pressed glass.
