Elegant champagne bottle made from handcrafted glass and locally in the Lorraine region of France. As certified on the label, the material is a "full and true" glass, hand-cut and finished with a 24-karat gold coating. It features an art deco design with its hand-cut polygonal ornaments. In addition, the translucent effect is combined with a matte finish. The history of glass and crystal craftsmanship in Lorraine goes back to ancient times and testifies to a very rich artisanal past in this region and more particularly in the Vosges department, in Champagne and in France.Learn more about glass in LorraineDuring the 18th century, glass craftsmanship developed significantly in Lorraine, where the glassworks of Vannes-le-Châtel appeared, created in 1765 (and still in activity) by the Countess of Mazirot de Reims.
