About this vintage design furniture
Bronze mortar and pestle from the 17th centuryExpose a piece of history in your home with this superb 17th-century apothecary mortar.Whether used for decoration, as a pocket scoop or in the kitchen, mortars have now found their place in contemporary interiors. Multifunctional and highly decorative, what more could you ask for?) Dimensions: Diameter 13cmHeight 9cmPestle length 18cm and diameter 4cmAntique object with many traces of use and age. Note a small tear on the neck and oxidation of the bronze. The bottom is also convex, a sign of daily use at the time. It will be possible to restore its full gilding with a suitable product and some elbow grease ;). We've simply polished it and removed some of the oxidation, leaving it with a beautiful patina. Now it's up to you to decide whether to leave it that way or to make it shine even more! Cf photos
