About this vintage design furniture

A stunning piece of vintage and mid century furniture in an oak chest of drawers by G plan furniture. The cabinet consists of a super stylized oak cabinet with a sloping design to the front, with a single drawer to the top with the drawer having superb double dovetail jointing and offering excellent storage, to front of the drawer there is the original pull handle in oak, also to the front there is a cupboard door again with the same original oak handle that offers even more storage. The cabinet has been hand crafted by G plan furniture and has the gold embossed E Gomme logo, the cabinet comes from their Brandon range released in 1953 and designed by Victor Bramwell Wilkins. The cabinet is a beautiful and practical piece of mid century furniture with a wonderful look and design that would suit any home or environment Dimension W 14 inches D 13 inches to 11 Inches H 20.5 Inches Condition The cabinet is in superb condition made of solid wood with a oak veneer. The cupboard has have hand sanded to the original wood then waxed and French polished. Reference : 283948
