Vintage oakwood chest with 7 drawers by G Plan

A stunning piece of vintage and mid-century furniture in a seven-drawer chest by G Plan furniture. The chest consists of seven hand crafted drawers with each one having superb double dovetail jointing and offering excellent storage, to each of the drawer fronts there are two original pull handles with each one in gold. To the base the cabinets sit's on a wonderful black ebonised base with four legs and super-stylized cross stretchers running in between with gold end caps to each of the feet. The chest has been hand crafted by G plan furniture and bears the gold embossed logo of E Gomme and G Plan furniture within the top drawer, with the cabinet coming from there Chinese white range and released in 1956. The chest is a stunning and genuine piece of vintage and mid-century furniture that looks amazing with a wonderful look and styling and great proportions that would suit any home or environment Dimensions Top W 24 Inches D 16 Inches H 51 Inches Base W 27 Inches D 17 Inches Condition The chest is in superb condition made of solid wood with an oak wood veneer.
