Beautiful and extremely rare gold sunburst mirror, sunburst mirror with convex mirror glass, entirely made of gilded wood, authentic design object from the early 1950s, France. Very sought after by serious collectors, this mirror is made up in 2 tiers with wooden sunbursts, which gives a very nice depth effect, the mirror is decorated and made after an antique example, the whole carries a very nice age patina and fits seamlessly in a modern or vintage interior, a real eye catcher! These mirrors are becoming rarer and rarer, especially these made entirely of wood, timeless collector's item, also called a witch's mirror or butler's mirror because of the convex mirror glass. This fine item is in very good vintage condition, no missing parts at all, some minor damage at some ends of the sunburst, slight mock up on the mirror glass due to age, but nothing disturbing, check the photos for more details!
