Original 1960's starburst candleholders made of acrylic (Plexiglass) with a metal insert for a taper candle. An eye-catching piece of 60's modernist design quintessential to the Sputnik era. This set includes one piece each of orange, pink, red and blue. Brand: Friedel Ges Gesch (maker's mark on the underside). Dimensions: 9 cm x 9 cm. Made in Germany. Condition: good vintage condition with some signs of wear consistent with the age including rust on the metal inserts, see pictures for details. Also note a chip on the red one, as seen in the pictures.
