About this vintage design furniture
Designer: Anna and Carlo Bartoli
Producer: Rossi di Albizzate Italy

Condition: Fair, with clear signs of use
Note: Upholstery worn and faded
Two seats sofa with metal bearing structure on elastic belts, padding in polyurethane foams with different densities.
Tubular supports in anodized aluminium. Coverings are in special elastic fabrics and can be easy removed.
The Tube series is manufactured exclusively with covering in a special elastic 100% wool fabric.
Tube received the IF Award for Good Industrial Design in 1996 and in 2001 was pictured in the “Design Italiano per un nuovo paesaggio domestico” post stamp series, issued by Poste Italiane.

Carlo Bartoli (1931-2019) was an Italian designer known for his work in furniture and industrial design. He was born in Viareggio, Tuscany, Italy, and studied architecture at the University of Florence.
