About this vintage design furniture
A double-armed Lunel wall light from the 1950s. The articulated structure is made of brass, enhanced by gilt brass pieces. The double fabric reflector is restored on original carcasses and received two light bulbs with baillonette, Double push-button switch allowing an independent ignition of the two bulbs. The lamp is in a good original state.

About the designer
René MATHIEU
René Mathieu was a French designer born in Nancy in 1905 and died in 1969. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nancy before moving to Paris to work as a theater decorator. He also worked for Galeries Lafayette, where he was responsible for creating window displays and exhibition stands.
