Vintage wooden frame rocking chair "Isabella" by Karl-Axel Adolfsson for Gemla, 1960

The Isabella rocking chair is in good condition. The black finish of the wooden frame shows signs of wear commensurate with its age. On the pommel of the left armrest there is a chipping of a piece of the pommel border. The seating comfort of the seat cushion in a snake pattern is very good. The chintz-like fabric of the pillow shows minimal signs of wear. Gemla Fabrikers is Sweden's oldest furniture manufacturer and attaches great importance to traditional craftsmanship and sustainability in its furniture. The Isabella rocking chair was designed by Swedish designer Karl-Axel Adolfsson in the 1960s. Reference : 274488
