Fantastic signed mid-century side table, nice size, TV consoles, on a wooden frame with edges that meet on the reverse, "V" or "A" shaped legs with dark brown lacquered finish, resting on multidirectional wheels, made by Zuenelli, Bologna, in the 1960s.
Features:
- A glass upper shelf resting on brushed metal tubular bars, framed by angular edges, and a lower shelf composed of 4 pieces of warm brown slats, which is attached to the legs with brushed metal edges on the front and back, as well as the same lacquered wood on each side.
- On the face of the lower right corner of the border is the manufacturer's mark, which is upside down. It can be seen in some of the images, but we have also provided a close-up photo, right side up.
- The edges on each side of the tabletop have a very cool, clean design: on one side they slope down and on the other side they slope up (see photos). They also have two metal lines that run vertically from one edge to the other, which really contrast with the dark brown color.
- The 4 wheels are multidirectional and fully functional. They are brushed metal with "claw" shaped casters, (see photos.)
- Minor signs and marks of age and use commensurate with time and a nice patina of time on the overall structure, top, bottom shelf, legs and wheels (see photos), but nothing that takes away from the cool look or function of this piece.
The piece is solid and sturdy and the design is functional and elegant with extremely beautiful lines. It can be used for almost anything, from a sofa table side in a living room or den, as a stereo console t.v. stand, entry tableconsole, drinks table on wheels, a table for plants or simply a piece on which to place other decorative items and will compliment any given environment.
The glass top will be disassembled for transportation purposes.
