Chaise Nicolle 6x french industrial metal design chairs
stool we may also have a set of 6 (higher) bar stools with backs in another ad.
This original industrial design classic (also often used as studio chair, work stool) was made in 'Les Etablissements Nicolle' in Paris from 1933 to 1952.
The factory went bankrupt until production was restarted in 2010.
6 pieces model chair or stool, stool in matte black metal with cognac skai leather seats. Original and marked.
The backrest can possibly be removed by means of a wing nut so that these chairs can also be used as stools.
Condition:
In good used condition, see photos. Some rust and damage to the paintwork mainly on the legs ad underside, which does add to the charm and appearance of these barstools.
The cushions of which 3 are screwed and 3 glued (of which 2 seats are loose and have been left that way, because screwing is always possible but causes holes) provide a comfortable soft seat.
Few small damages on the skai of 3 or 4 stools and possibly to replace by another color fabric.

Seat height with cushion 48 cm, and without cushion seat height 46cm, x 78 cm total height.
The Chaises Nicolle anno nowadays is made with the original tools in the original molds. Due to the flexible back support and beautiful appearance, these stool / chair / and bar stools, bar stool are gaining ground again in French bistros, restaurants, catering, kitchen.
To compare with the well-known other metal chairs such as Tolix by Xavier Pauchard, fibrocit, chaise bienaise, emu, singer etc which fit well in both vintage and modern interiors.
