VINTAGE GEPO MUSHROOM TABLE LAMP – DUTCH DESIGN ICON
This iconic mid-century modern table lamp was produced by GEPO N.V., a Dutch family business founded in 1965 by the Posthuma brothers—“GEPO” being short for Gebroeders Posthuma. Known for their innovative and accessible designs, GEPO became a prominent name in Dutch lighting throughout the 1960s and '70s.
The lamp features a round, white-painted metal base and a thick, elegantly curved metal rod, giving it a distinctive, sculptural silhouette. Topping it off is a mushroom-shaped acrylic shade that softly diffuses the light, creating a warm and atmospheric glow. Its minimalist lines and balanced proportions make it a timeless piece.
