The Vitra Soft Pad Chair EA 222 by Charles and Ray Eames offers ultimate comfort as a lounge chair with a high backrest, to which the tilt mechanism, which can be adjusted to the body weight, makes a decisive contribution. With the matching EA 223 stool, you can also put your feet up. In combination, the EA 222 and EA 223 form the perfect pair for long, cozy reading evenings.
Base: Chrome-plated
Premium F leather with contrasting stitching: Nero / black
Premium F leather is a rather smooth cowhide / semi-aniline leather with a flat grain pattern and a slight top grain sheen. It is dyed through and lightly pigmented. Premium F leather is produced using a tanning agent obtained from olive tree leaves (a waste product of the olive harvest) and the entire production process is carried out using as few and harmless chemicals as possible.
