Set of two pieces of furniture in cherry wood, consisting first of a small dressing table in the style of the return from Egypt. Its top, with a frame and wire veneer in the center, opens onto a compartmentalized interior lined with removable fabric backs. This dressing table also features a mirror with a wide molding around the edge and lines that match those of the flap. In order to preserve the privacy of this space, it is equipped with an original lock in working order and accompanied by its key. On the belt, this piece of furniture has two small drawers with brass knobs, in which we find the same bottoms as those described above. This dressing table is composed of four solid cherry wood uprights, carved in elegant swan necks and ending in claws. They rest on a crosspiece with widely cut edges, itself installed on four ball feet.
This piece of furniture can be combined with a lovely solid cherry wood armchair. Its backrest, ideally curved, and its seat, squared, are covered with a champagne yellow fabric with leafy patterns, similar to the one used for the dressing table. The uprights also feature the graceful white palmipeds. This seat rests on four saber feet, the front ones with connecting dice decorated with flowers.
One will be charmed by this perfectly matched set, both in spirit and in size. Modest, the latter will allow this dressing table and its heater to be adopted as well by a young child, a teenager, or a woman in the prime of her life, who will all have in common the pleasure of giving themselves a moment for themselves in a cocooning environment.
