the shape of the armchairs is sculptural and unique. The two armrests merge to form an elegant backrest. It is an extraordinary combination of technical craftsmanship and fantastic design. The chairs have a steel structure with moulded polyurethane foam padding. The suspended backrest gives elasticity to the structure and takes advantage of a metal tubing construction to its fullest. Rima later filed a patent application for the design. The conical feet are made from oak and have brass caps. The chair has been reupholstered in an oyster-coloured fabric.
The legs are made of wood, they do have some small damages like cracks but no structural problems.
