Vintage coat rack from the early sixties. The design is inspired by a design by Pilastro.
The metal coat rack with fixed hat shelf is chrome colored and has black hooks that are movable.
The condition is very good considering its age.
Tjerk Reijenga is a Dutch designer and architect specializing in sustainable development. He became very famous in design for his minimalist and functional shelving system called "Pilastro."
This Dutch designer is not recognized as he should be. Indeed, he really marked the design period of the 1950s thanks to his innovative storage system. He has designed many coat racks, shelving systems, bookshelves produced by Pilastro, a 1950s Dutch company.
