This hand-woven Tribal Shiraz Qashqai rug was made in Iran during the 1940s. Dyed in shades of red, blue, and green, the center of the rug features a triple geometric medallion. It is a nomadic type of rug, easily rolled or folded for quick movement.
Qashqai Shiraz refers to the rugs woven by the Qashqai tribes living in the Shiraz region of southwestern Iran. These rugs are crafted by the nomadic Qashqai tribes who migrate through southern Iran, particularly around Shiraz.
