Pair of vintage "East Side" armchairs by Ettore Sottsass for Knoll International, USA 1980

A wonderful pair of “Easy Side” chairs, designed by Ettore Sottsass and manufactured by Knoll International in the USA around 1980. Made of high quality black leather with red suède neckrests. the seating cushions are also upholstered in suède, one in blue and one in yellow. The deep seat provides a really nice seating comfort, especially combined with the cushions and neckrest. The chairs would be a fantastic addition to the home decor, or could be very fitting for a lobby, hallway or waiting room. An iconic set that will definitely draw the attention! Marked “Knoll” underneath the cushions, as shown in photos. The set remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Reference : 261081
