Vintage bronze sculpture "lovers" by Jos Welten

Jos Welten is a well-known name in the art world. Nevertheless, not much is known about the life of Jos, who was born in 1926 in the south of the Netherlands. This work is called ‘Verliefden’, in English ‘Lovers’, and that does not need further explanation when looking at the sculpture. Beautiful full cast bronze standing on a square granite of 20x20cm. The work is, because of the material, also heavy. Yet it shows light and transparent. Comes best into its own in any environment where people live or work. Reference : 255627
