Vintage sculpture "milliner's head" in wood, Germany 1910s-1930s

A Milliners head was designed in the 1910-1930 for fitting new hat’s on and also present the hat in stores. The heads that have been carved in wood come mostley from Germany because of the wood carve specialist that lived among the German woods. So besides the fact that these are very wel designed towards the human head in different sizes they have nowadays become more and more in the interest of collectioneers. This head is beautiful and as a good carved milliners head should it has a hole in the neck part to be able to place the head on a stick while decorating a store.
