About this vintage design furniture
Helena Tynell was born in 1918 in Aänekoski, Finland, and graduated from the Central School of Arts and Crafts in Helsinki in 1943. She became one of the most influential designers of the Riihimäen Lasi factory between 46 and 76.Tynell also worked for the glass factories Bega Leuchten, Glashütte Limburg, as well as Fostoria glass in the U.S.A.She was awarded with different prizes.
