About this vintage design furniture
This high-quality Italian wall-mounted light sculpture was designed by Akikaze for Poliarte in 1970. The title "Rottura Spaziale" refers to its radical brutalist design, which was also inspired by the visionary urban megastructures and film set designs of the time. The rare piece is from the early production, featuring the original colored Murano glass bars in orange and coral tones. The panel is made from cast aluminium. The heavy illuminated wall relief is carried by a massiv steel frame. Its rear side has cutouts for wall mounting. A total of 10 light sources can be dimmed continuously to create different beautiful lighting moods.
Technical details:
- The original electrical components are fully functional.
- Features the original switch from Bticino with dimmer function.
- The 10 bulb sockets for E 14 bulbs (15 W each) are connected in series.
