Pair of vintage Brutalist solid oakwood benches, France 1970s

Set of oak benches with an interesting geometry of the feet. Constructed in solid oak with veneered brown color. The top is constructed in a geometry, with rounded of edges, in the manner of Charlotte Perriand. The feet are cilinder shaped and positioned in a v-shaped form with horizontal beams for stability. The entire construction provides for an interesting geometry. The benches have been hand-crafted and built in a very solid manner. The wood has the original carvings and gradients visible, which is a really aesthetic feature. The overal robustness of the material and shapes provide for a very brutalist look. Reference : 247186
