About this vintage design furniture

Beautiful and rare large mid-century modern glass vase designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta (Sweden, 1950s). The vase features a purple linear design encased in thick clear glass. Quite heavy (1.5 kg). The vase is extremely decorative. Signed at bottom "Kosta LH 1388" (see pictures). Height: 31.5 cm; width: 7 cm; depth: 5 cm. Very good vintage condition, barely visible minor scratches and residue to the interior. Reference : 245177

Vicke Lindstrand was a Swedish designer and artist born on June 17, 1904 in Malmö, Sweden, and died on October 7, 1983 in Kosta, Sweden. He is best known for his work as a glass designer for the Swedish company Orrefors.
