About this vintage design furniture
Black leather lounge chair with a short backrest by Hans Kaufeld from the 1960s. The leather is in very good condition. Minimal signs of use like a small abrahsion on the back edge of one armrest and a small superficial cut. Excellent seating comfort thanks to the thick back cushions typical of Kaufeld. The rotating mechanism works smoothly and the chrome of the star base is in perfect condition.
Hans Kaufeld founded his manufactory in Bielefeld in 1918 and focused on the production of high-quality furniture in an attractive design. These lounge chairs were designed in the 1960s and also found their place in the Chancellery. Beautiful designer piece with a first-class seating feeling.
