Vintage parchment and brass tray by Aldo Tura for Macabo, 1960

Beautiful coffee service tray in parchment patchwork created by Aldo Tura for Macabo Cusano Milanino in Milan in the early 60s. Characteristic of the work of Aldo Tura, the parchment is a goat skin dyed and lacquered which gives its shades, and this absolutely superb piqué. Rounded shape, with a brass gallery, and a patchwork in red, green, yellow and black parchment. A very chic, timeless tray, which can be used as a decorative element as well as a functional coffee service. It has been fully cleaned and repolished, and is in beautiful vintage condition.
