About this vintage design furniture
Rare shelf by the Swedish manufacturer Pira, version "Pira". Modular system with three anthracite-coloured metal ladders, eight teak shelves and two teak containers with black handles. One container with three drawers and a lockable door, the other one with two sliding doors. Good condition with small traces of usage.

Olof PIRA is a contemporary Swedish designer known for his work with the String furniture brand. He studied design at Lund University before embarking on a career as a freelance designer. PIRA has worked with String since 2013 and has created several iconic pieces for the brand, including the String Pocket modular bookcase and the String Works wall console.
