Vintage floorlamp "Zen" by E. Gismondi for Artemide

Ernesto Gismondi (1931-2020, Italy) created the Zen floor light for Artemide (Italy). The Zen is a tall halogen floor lamp with an aluminum shade in the shape of a shell and a little lamp underneath. The tiny lamp illuminates the top shade and adds additional ambiance. The dimmers are on both lamps. The top shade can be turned. This Artemide Zen floor lamp features a substantial spherical base and a tall, black metal stand. Fun fact: The famous and prosperous Italian lamp company Artemide was founded by Ernesto Gismondi. Since its founding in 1960, Artemide has focused on producing lamps created by architects and designers. The Tolomeo and the Tizio are two popular Artemide lamps.
