About this vintage design furniture
The Plafonds were manufactured in Germany by Hillebrand in the 1960s.
The construction consists of two modules.
The base is made of chrome steel.
The thick glass diffuser is textured and resembles wavy water.
The inner layer is covered with crystallised particles of glass mass, which creates a decorative structure. The effect of this surface finish is scattered light that spreads not only forward but up and down.
