Goffredo Reggiani marked solid brass table/floor lamp, Italy, 1960s

Beautiful and large three-light gilt solid brass table or floor lamp with double on/off switch and original textile lampshade. The frame is composed of various elements in brushed brass with some insertions of brass elements with a polished finish, creating a interesting overall effect. This lamp gives a truly striking atmosphere and the brass base is in excellent condition with minimal oxidation. The original lampshade, made from fabric glued onto a plastic support, has been affected by age and use: it has been washed and sanitised but there are still some slight marks, some deformation due to minor knocks and traces of repair by gluing where the fabric attaches to the metal support structure at the top.
