About this vintage design furniture

A beautiful high children chair, manufactured by Gispen in the Netherlands around 1950. The tubular metal frame has nicely curved shapes, the tops of the armrests are made of bakelite and the seat and back are made of plywood in a nice brown colour. A combination of materials and shapes that add a unique and highly recognizable appearance to this piece! A great introduction to the world of mid-century design for the kids. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina! Reference : 240874
