About this vintage design furniture
Very rare round coffee table with gilded brass legs designed and edited by Georges Geffroy in the 1960s. The asymmetrical brass base with four legs is superb, and very modern for the time. The table has a new glass top. The base has been fully restored and repolished, and is in superb vintage condition. A very rare piece, testimony of the modernism of the decorator Georges Geffroy.Reference : Georges GEFFROY 1905 - 1971, a Legend of the Great French Decor by Pierre Arizzoli-Clémental, 2016, P62.

About the designer
Paul GEOFFROY
Paul Geoffroy is a French designer born in Limoges in 1947. He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and began his career working for renowned design agencies such as Dragon Rouge and Design Partner.
