Pair of vintage bamboo and red lacquered brass side tables by Maison Baguès, 1960

Superb pair of bamboo style brass sofa ends and garnet red lacquer trays from the House of Baguès dating from the 60s. Faux bamboo and lacquer, of Asian inspiration, these attributes are typical of the French neoclassical style from the 50s to the 70s, by Maison Baguès and Maison Jansen. The structure has been cleaned, and the brass has a very nice patina. The tops have been relacquered. They are very stable and really very well made. Very chic, timeless and decorative pieces.
