About this vintage design furniture

Vintage teak sideboard by Swedish designer Nils Jonsson for the publisher Troeds. 60's. Gigant model. It is composed of 4 sliding doors and 5 drawers. It is placed on turned tapered legs. The first drawer is originally covered with blue felt, it is the cutlery drawer. It is a classic piece of Swedish design: simplicity and functionality. A sure value that does not take wrinkles with time. The tray is in very good condition.very good vintage condition. Reference : 237732

About the designer

Nils JONSSON

Nils Jonsson was a Swedish designer who was born in 1927 and died in 2017. He began his career working for a Swedish furniture manufacturer in the 1950s, where he designed solid wood furniture with clean, modern lines. He then founded his own company, Nils Jonsson Möbelfabrik, in 1958, which became famous for its high-end teak furniture.
