About this vintage design furniture
Meissen porcelain figurine representing a Japanese Chin / Pekingese (Germany, 1950s). First modelled by Erich Hösel in 1913-14, this figurine was made in the 1950s by Germany's leading porcelain manufacturer Meissen. Very high quality craftsmanship. Fully marked on the base. Crossed swords in blue on unglazed base. Incised model number V 149. Assembler's number 1240. Height: 11 cm / 4.3''; width: 19.5 cm / 7.7''; depth: 12.5 cm / 4.9''. Excellent vintage condition.
