Vintage Hollywood Regency gold shelving on wheels by Pierre Vandel, 1970s

This gold, waist high étagère, is a rarely seen piece of Pierre Vandel design - but has all the hallmarks of his best work. The four-shelved unit is mounted on to four metal swivel castor wheels, allowing for free movement. The frame is gold-plated aluminium, and is signed with Vandel’s signature stripe. Each corner contains a strip of chrome, which holds in place thick panes of rectangular glass. This stylish unit would look amazing in all rooms of the home, and would bring a touch of 1970s glamour to any interior. The condition is good, but some light wear is to be expected given the piece’s age.
